The Surly Straggler is a true all-rounder: a robust steel gravel bike that’s equally at home on tarmac and rough tracks. It combines the characteristics of a ‘rough road’ road bike, a relaxed cyclocross bike, a lightweight tourer and a reliable everyday commuter bike. For many riders, it’s considered the perfect ‘mountain biker’s road bike’ – a single bike that covers almost everything.

Thanks to its well-thought-out geometry and sturdy 4130 chromoly construction, the Straggler is ideal for day trips, weekend tours and light bikepacking set-ups. With the right panniers, luggage racks or the Surly 8- and 24-Pack Racks, the bike can easily be configured to carry heavier loads.

The Straggler is available in 650b and 700c sizes and offers generous tyre clearance as well as numerous mounting points for mudguards and pannier racks. The horizontal dropouts allow for a single-speed setup or adjustment of the chainstay length.
