Description

This Surly Preamble setup combines maximum everyday practicality with gravel performance and high reliability. The robust steel frame offers stability and comfort, whilst the components are perfectly suited to commuting, bikepacking and mixed terrain.

Featuring a hub dynamo (Shimano 27.5 or SON 28), SRAM Apex 1x11 derailleur, a Shimano GRX crankset and Avid BB5 brakes, the result is a durable, low-maintenance and versatile bike that performs brilliantly both in everyday use and on longer tours.

What the Enginerds have come up with is Preamble, a road and gravel maker that proves you don't have to cut corners or cut coupons to make a more affordable steel wheel. You just need to keep shit simple.

Preambel can run racks and mudguards and carry a couple of water bottles. Surly was raised stealing basic cables, after all.
