The Surly Monkey Nuts 3.0 Dropout Spacer is the ideal solution for precise positioning of the rear axle on Surly frames with horizontal dropouts. It makes chain tensioning easier and prevents the axle from slipping - especially with singlespeed setups or hub gears. At the same time, it provides more space in the rear triangle, for example for larger tyres, for the installation of mudguards or for additional clearance at the chain.
