Product description:
The Surly Lowside is an uncompromising single-speed mountain bike for those who like it purist. The frame kit offers maximum flexibility for customised set-ups - true to the motto "à la carte".
Lowside is the grown-up version of the bike you rode as a child - back when you still had big dreams and ambitious plans. It feels just as at home on the singletrack as it does outside your favourite pub.
Lowside is a singlespeed mountain bike. Since the launch of the 1x1 Rat Ride, singlespeeding has been part of Surly's DNA. After numerous Homie Fall Fests and more feats of strength than we can count, we discontinued the 1x1 a few years ago. Lowside picks up exactly where the 1x1 left off.
🔧 Technical highlights:
- Compatible with modern trail standards: Dropper post, 44 mm head tube, Gnot-Boost rear triangle, thru axles
- Fits most mountain bike standards - ideal as a parts storage bike (note: no rim brakes!)
- Depending on the model year, equipped with 26 x 3" or 27.5 x 2.8" tyres - both options are still possible
