Frame & fork made of 4130 chromoly steel - robust, durable and ED-coated against corrosion

- Compatible with 26" fat bike tyres up to 5.25" wide and 29 x 3.0" plus tyres

- Modern standards: thru axles (12x197 mm rear, 15x150 mm front), dropper post compatible, IS brake mount

- Suspension fork compatibility: up to 140 mm travel (571 mm length)

- Bottom bracket: 100 mm BSA thread, ideal for wide fat bike cranks

- Mounting points: Bottle cage, three-pack mounts on the fork, rear rack and mudguard options

The frameset is designed for 26 x 4.8" wheels and offers maximum tyre clearance:

- Frame: up to 26 x 5.1" at the rear, 26 x 4.8" at the front, alternatively 29 x 3.0"

- Fork: up to 26 x 5.25" or 29 x 3.0"

The actual tyre clearance depends on the rim width and drive configuration - in some cases the chain may be the limiting factor, not the frame.

The geometry allows a maximum suspension fork length of 571 x 51 mm (fatbike with 140 mm travel, measured at full extension). The rigid fork has a length of 483 mm, with an offset of 47 mm and an axle-to-crown dimension of 483 mm.

The rear triangle is designed for 12 x 197 mm thru-axles (Surly axle included), the front triangle for 15 x 150 mm thru-axles (also included). The front brake mount is IS 51 mm with a maximum rotor size of 203 mm.

The head tube is compatible with a ZS44/28.6 (top) and EC44/30 (bottom). The steerer tube, stem and Crown Race each have a diameter of Ø28.6 mm and Ø30 mm respectively.

The frameset accepts a Ø30.9 mm seatpost and is dropper compatible. The seat clamp has Ø33.1 mm. A clamp with Ø34.9 mm is provided for front derailleurs, with a high direct mount top-pull design and a 55 mm offset adapter (not included).

The bottom bracket is a 100 mm BSA thread (1.37" x 24TPI). The maximum chainring size is:

- 1x (Fatbike 190): 34T

- 2x (Surly OD): 22/36T

The actual chainring clearance depends heavily on the components and configuration.

The frame offers the following equipment:

- Bottle cage: 1x for sizes XS-M, 2x for sizes L-XL

- Fork mounts: 2x three-pack mounts and luggage rack mounting points at the top, bottom and centre of the fork blade

- Mudguard mounting: possible at the rear, not provided at the front
