Ritchey Outback frame set

The Ritchey Outback 2025 is a versatile gravel and adventure frame, designed for riders seeking maximum reliability and flexibility. With over 50 years’ experience in frame building and around 16,000 km of off-road riding by Tom Ritchey himself every year, the Outback is a tried-and-tested classic for bikepacking, long tours and challenging gravel routes.

The new generation features key updates: internal dropper post cable routing, internal dynamo cable routing and additional multi-purpose mounting points for luggage racks and accessories. The Aurora and Winter Sage colour options expand the range and emphasise the frame’s functional character. For the first time, the Outback is also available in size XXL – ideal for taller riders looking for a high-quality steel gravel bike.

The Outback is designed equally for bikepacking, road and off-road riding, offering the perfect balance of comfort, stability and durability.

Note regarding the fork:
The front attachment point on the steerer tube is closed and not intended for mounting lights or accessories. However, the multi-purpose mounts on the fork legs and the dropout rack mounts still allow for versatile mounting options for luggage racks and accessories.
