The Brother Cycles Pinecone is a versatile, touring-ready all-road/MTB touring bike with clear adventure DNA. The robust steel frame, powerful 4-piston brakes, wide 29×2.35 tyres and the combination of a SON dynamo and Rohloff hub make it a reliable companion for everyday use, commuting and long tours.
Whether on tarmac, cobblestones, gravel or forest tracks – the Pinecone offers the stability, control and comfort of a modern hardtail, combined with the touring capabilities of a fully equipped bikepacking bike.

The frame is made from heat-treated 4130 chromoly steel, double-butted in the main frame triangle and ED-coated for optimum corrosion protection. The set is extremely versatile and is suitable for touring, bikepacking and robust everyday use.

The Pinecone frame features horizontal dropouts, allowing the chain to be tensioned directly above the rear wheel.
An external chain tensioner is not required. Installation is neat and secure via the Rohloff OEM2 plate on the IS brake adapter.
The Rohloff hub in 135 mm QR is therefore the ideal choice for this frame.
