What is the a-bikeshop bike service?
Our bike service offers a thorough technical inspection of your bike. Visible defects are documented and safety-relevant components - in terms of road and operational safety - are repaired directly if possible.
Please note: Material costs for required spare parts (e.g. brake cables, brake pads) are not included in the service price.
🔍 What is checked?
Brake systems:
- Brake pads: Function, condition, adjustment, replacement if necessary
- Brake cables: Function, condition, adjustment, replacement if necessary
- Centring the brake calliper, adjusting the brakes, replacing brake shoes if necessary
- Pressure point check and adjustment
- Suspension fork, shock absorber, seat post: visual inspection and function test
Drive:
- Chain: condition per chain gauge, replace if necessary
- Gearstick: Function, adjustment
- Gear cables: Condition, adjustment, replacement if necessary
Further components:
- Lighting and signalling system
- Pedals and tyres
- Sprockets and wheels
- Handlebar stem
- Attachments such as kickstand, child seat, trailer coupling
Our service includes
- Objective diagnosis with written results report
- Recognition of wear and safety-relevant defects
- If possible: direct repair or replacement of defective parts
- Registration directly at the desired location - in person or by phone
- Suitable for all bike types - including e-bikes with Bosch or Shimano systems (incl. e-system diagnostics)
